This Yoga studio is rooted in the Ashtanga Yoga practice. The word "asana" in Sanskrit (the ancient language of the practice) has a literal translation to "seat" and is the root word of nearly all yoga postures.

The yoga poses are often referred to as the "Asanas." In the East the practice room is often called the "Asana Room" where the poses are practiced.

The purpose of this studio is to create a space to practice the physical poses in order to find connection to our inner teacher. The poses are one of the Eight Limbs to the Ashtanga Yoga practice.

The community of this studio will grow organically in the practice that will allow the them to experience being a student of life through the practice of Ashtanga Yoga.
